Active residential listings breakdown Sept 13, 2017 for homes listed for sale in the Omaha Area MLS (multiple listing services). 

As of September 13, 2017, there was a total of 2,567 active listings for sale, up 13 % from June 2017.  695 are new construction homes listed for sale.  This leaves about 1,837 existing homes for sale.  Out of the 1,837, 1,445 are active listings in Douglas and Sarpy counties. Douglas county has 1,164 active listings and Sarpy county has 281.   The following chart breaks down in more detail for both Douglas and Sarpy counties active listings
